Hello! I’m Lucas Gattuso. I’m a teacher at Luther Burbank Middle School in Burbank, California. This website is my “professional site” – apparently.
Other, non-job things about me:
I’m a photographer. I started out with a little pocket point-and-shoot and worked my way up to a Nikon D850. You can find out more about my photography at dogwelder.com.
I like to record music and I have a decent enough voice, but have only bare-minimum ability to play any instruments. If you’ve got a song that uses G-C-D7, call me!
I’m a comic book geek. I can name at least seven forms of kryptonite (There are more than seven).
My favorite form of writing is sudden/flash fiction, but I also like long, twisty novels.
I have lived my entire life on the edges of the San Fernando Valley.
I have only left the continental United States twice: once to Mexico and once to Canada. Some day I will leave this landmass!
I love riding the subway.
I married my high school sweetheart… twenty years after we broke up.
I think well-designed software doesn’t force you to read a manual for most tasks.
I will gladly help you with the consumption of chocolate.
